Eitha Tal Ffranco yw Gruff ab Arwel a Dafydd Owain. Ffurfiwyd y grŵp fis Rhagfyr 2006 pan fu i’r cerddor gwerin, Alun Tan Lan, ofyn iddynt berfformio mewn tafarn yn Llangernyw.

Dros flwyddyn yn ddiweddarach, Mawrth 2008 i fod yn fanwl gywir, rhyddhaodd y grŵp eu record gyntaf, ‘Os Ti’n Ffosil’, ar y label Klep Dim Trep. Bu i’r casgliad yma o ganeuon arwain at ymddangosiadau teledu, sesiynau radio a pherfformiadau niferus ar hyd a lled Cymru.

Eitha Tal Ffranco are Gruff ab Arwel and Dafydd Owain. They formed in December 2006 after Welsh folk singer, Alun Tan Lan, asked them to play in a tavern in the village of Llangernyw.

Over a year later, March 2008 to be exact, the band released their debut album, ‘Os Ti’n Ffosil’ (If You Are a Fossil), on the Klep Dim Trep label. The collection of songs on this record paved the way for numerous television appearances, radio sessions and performances across Wales.
