Ar droad yr 20fed ganrif, daw newyddion trist i weithwyr Chwarel y Glyn – newyddion a fydd yn arwain Elen ein harwres ar antur hynod drwy ogledd-orllewin gwyllt Cymru wrth iddi geisio dod o hyd i’r gwirionedd.

Dyma ail opera roc y cyfansoddwr Elfed Saunders Jones yn dilyn llwyddiant y sioe wyddonias, ‘Gadewaist’. Yng ngeiriau Elfed, "…dyma sioe sy’n cyfuno lleoliad tra chyfarwydd i ni’r Cymry – diwydiant a diwylliant y chwarel – gyda dylanwad ffilmiau cowbois Eidalaidd o’r 60au."

At the turn of the 20th century, the workers of a north Wales quarry receive some dreadful news – news that will lead our heroine Elen on an extraordinary adventure through the wild (north-)west of Wales in search of the truth.

This is composer Elfed Saunders Jones' second rock opera following the success of his sci-fi epic, 'Gadewaist'. In Elfed's own words, "...a spaghetti western viewed through the lens of the Welsh slate industry and its associated culture."
